What CatchUpCal is

CatchUpCal (catchupcal.com) keeps recurring catch-up calls between friends on both people’s calendars. It is a scheduling tool: calls happen on whatever you already use, outside the app.

What we collect

There are no public profiles, no directory, and no discovery — connections exist only via personal invites. We collect nothing else: no contact-book import, no analytics profiles, no advertising identifiers.

Google user data

Signing in with Google grants CatchUpCal your basic profile (name, email) and the calendar.events permission. We use calendar access for exactly one thing: creating, updating, and deleting the recurring call events that CatchUpCal itself puts on your Google Calendar. We never read, store, or process any other events or calendar content.

CatchUpCal’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Where data lives

Data is processed by our infrastructure providers: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), and Resend (transactional email delivery). We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or transfer it to anyone beyond these processors.

Email

All email is transactional — invites, slot proposals and acceptances, call-time reminders, and follow-up nudges — with per-user toggles in settings. No marketing email.

Deletion & revoking access
